How to Spend Valentine’s/ Superbowl Weekend!
This is truly once in a lifetime phenomenon that the Superbowl would land on Valentine’s Day Weekend. While the guys might be excited about this it could be cutting into those romantic plans you had set.
Here are some of our top recommendations of how to keep this weekend romantic and throw a little football into the mix too.
1. Learn how to make a new drink or meal together!
Get cozy with your partner and learn how to make a new cocktail or recipe that can become a staple in your weekly routine. Plus, as a bonus have a new dish or drink to share with your friends and family at the Superbowl party!
2. Incorporate V-day into your Superbowl party!
Snacks are notorious at super bowl parties and while tradition may call for a cheese dip or wings, switch it up with some Valentine’s Day-themed treats. Serve a heart-shaped charcuterie board with heart-shaped fruits and crackers. Or add a sweets table with all the Valentine's Day candy favorites that everyone can enjoy while they watch the game.
3. Make it all about the girls!
Let’s face it most of us watch the Superbowl just for the halftime show. While your significant other and their guests enjoy the game you and your best girls take over the other room and have a Galantine’s party! This is a win-win for everyone involved while the football fans enjoy their day, the girls can relax and have a fun time instead of faking their interest in the game. Lol
4. Make Saturday all about you and Sunday all about him
The big day may not be until the 14th but for many, that’s a workday and you may not be able to do everything you had thought. Instead, celebrate on the 12th and have the perfect romantic day with your partner. Then Sunday can just be a chill day enjoying the game together or with family and friends
Just remember while this may not be the romantic weekend, we had pictured in our heads this will be a weekend we will never forget!
