Tanning & Salon

  • Can I bring my child with me while I tan or leave them in the lobby?

No, for safety and liability reasons:

    • Children are not allowed inside the tanning rooms
    • Children 15 years old and under cannot be left unattended in the lobby

Tanning rooms contain equipment that is not safe for children, and we want to provide a calm, professional experience for all clients.

  • Can I use the sauna and wellness pod on the same day?

No. Both the sauna and wellness pod are high-heat services, and using them on the same day can cause dehydration or overheating. For your safety, we do not allow both services within the same day.

Spray Tan

  • How should I prepare for a spray tan?

To get the best results from your spray tan:

    • Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment
    • Gently exfoliate with a scrub or exfoliating glove
    • Shower before your session, but do not use lotion, oils, deodorant, or makeup
    • After your session, wear loose, dark-colored clothing and flip-flops
  • How long will my spray tan last, and how do I make it last longer?

Spray tans typically last 7-10 days with proper care. To extend your tan:

    • Use a gentle, moisturizer daily! We have great tan extenders available for purchase.
    • Take cooler showers, hot water can fade your tan faster
    • Avoid scrubbing your skin harshly.
    • Pat your skin dry instead of rubbing with a towel.

UV Tanning

  • How often should I use UV tanning beds?

That depends on your tanning goals:

    • To build a base tan, come at least 3-4 times a week using a quality tanning lotion
    • To maintain your tan, 1–2 sessions per week is usually sufficient.
  • Should I use a tanning lotion?

Yes, you should always use a tanning lotion when UV tanning. Here's why:

    • Lotion helps moisturize your skin, preventing dryness and flaking
    • It enhances UV absorption, which helps you tan faster and more evenly
    • Many tanning lotions contain bronzers and skincare ingredients that improve results and nourish your skin
    • Using lotion can also help extend the life of your tan
  • Which lotion is best to extend or deepen my tan?

Look for lotions with DHA or natural bronzers to help develop and maintain color.

We recommend Super Nova, a dark bronzing lotion with DHA, which helps provide fast, deep, and even results.

  • Can UV tanning help improve my skin tone or acne?

    • UV light can temporarily dry out oil and reduce inflammation, which may improve the look of acne for a few days.
    • It can also even out skin tone by darkening it.

However, UV tanning is not a long-term solution for acne. For lasting results and proper care, we recommend consulting a licensed dermatologist.
